In one such story. . .a famous hunter pursues a white bear up a steep mountain and across two gorges that the bear creates by kicking at the mountain. The bear climbs a ladder to the sky, and the hunger follows. There a path leads through a beautiful prairie to a house, which the bear enters. . ."
